Then it blew back with a vengeance. Was it the Obama selfiie moment at the Nelson Mandela memorial or the Ellen DeGeneres catharsis at the Oscars?
No, I say. It was the convergence of neo-narcissism (a post for another day), camera phone adoption, instagram and GoPro, the company that pushed POVs from extreme to mainstream.
